16 weeks / 4 months!!!
bare belly ahhhh!
How big is baby: Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his / her weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's / she's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces.
This week's big developments: Baby's legs are much more developed, his/ her head is more erect than it has been, and his/her eyes have moved closer to the front of his/her head. His/ her ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his/her scalp has begun, though his/her locks aren't recognizable yet. He's /she's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his/her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.
How My Body is Changing: The top of your uterus is about halfway between your pubic bone and your navel, and the round ligaments that support it are thickening and stretching as it grows. You're probably feeling a whole lot better as you settle into pregnancy, too. Less nausea, fewer mood swings, and "glowing" skin contribute to an overall sense of well-being.
I love visuals of what is going on inside my body.
Last week (15 weeks)
Week 16
Total weight gain/loss: Same
Maternity clothes: Wearing maternity bottoms except for a few pairs of shorts I still fit in since they were big to begin with.
Sleep: Same, sleeping pretty well.
Best moment this week: Under movement section below
Gift: Jennifer and Mila got baby these two books. This monster book might be my second favorite book after "I love you forever."
Miss Anything: This week I really miss hot /steamy baths.

Movement: I thought I might have felt baby move on Monday evening. I was lying in bed on my right side and felt a nudging multiple times. I had not felt this sensation before.
Food cravings: This week I craved something I had not had since college: cheese tortilla with poppy seed dressing YUM! Also kiddie cocktails. I bought the ingredients so I could make them at home.
Symptoms: I think baby is growing- more pulling in my abdomen. Migraine and vomiting this week. My appetite has decreased. If I don't eat often throughout the day and/or immediately when I wake up in the mornings I get sick.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Previous.
Gender: Hoping baby is not shy when we have our ultrasound.
Looking forward to: Going to Wisconsin Dells with my family this weekend.
Interesting: I had my first "weird" pregnancy dream. I was with my friend Jennifer at some park. While there she kept asking me if I wanted wine (forgetting I was pregnant) and then at one point she jumped into a pool with her clothes on. That was when I noticed her hair was curly and down to her knees. ha ha :)

Pregnancy is such an amazing process perfectly designed. I found this on pinterest and wanted to share...brought me to tears. I cannot wait to meet my baby.

Ha ha! Love that you're having pregnancy dreams already....especially about me. Baby is loving me already :) Love your blog! Also, Mila and I love the monster book too! Can't wait till all 4 of us can read it together!
