30 Weeks!

How Far Along: 30 Weeks / 10 more weeks till due date

How big is baby:  Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now and weighs almost 3 pounds (about the size of a large cabbage).

This week's big developments:  A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will shrink as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

My Body:  You may be feeling a little tired these days, especially if you're having trouble sleeping. You might also feel clumsier than normal, which is perfectly understandable. Not only are you heavier, but the concentration of weight in your pregnant belly causes a shift in your center of gravity. Plus, thanks to hormonal changes, your ligaments are more lax, so your joints are looser, which may also contribute to your balance being a bit off.

Weight gain/loss: I weighed myself and I am the same as I was a few weeks ago at my doctor appointment.
Maternity clothes:  Got my tops in the mail yesterday :)
Best moment this week: Had a wonderful shower thrown by my friends Angie and Jennifer!!!

Benz Checking out the gifts :)

Movement: He has been moving a lot!! He has found my ribs!!!!
Miss Anything: NOT FEELING EXHAUSTED!
Food cravings: Hot Chocolate
Symptoms:  Lower back sore, hard to sit without getting uncomfortable quickly. Restless legs have been acting up this week too! I am easily TIRED after a few tasks.
Sleep: Some days good others not good. I need my down time each day because I have been tired.
Anything making you queasy or sick: not sure this week
Gender: BOY!!!
Looking forward to: THIS is the weekend baby room gets cleared out. I thought it was last but got my weekends mixed up. Finally get to start putting the nursery together which is nice because baby stuff is stored in several other rooms in the house.
