I cannot believe we have reached this point already and at the same time "it's about time." Two more months till our due date. I know due date is just an estimate but it still gives some kind of a time line, which I like. Each week that passes means one closer to meeting our baby boy.
How big is baby: By now, your baby weighs 3 3/4 pounds (about the size of a squash) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb.
*WOW* I can only imagine how much my belly is going to grow over the next two months.
This week's big developments: He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.
* I have had some reflux and realize I need to eat smaller meals now.
Stretch Marks: My belly skin has become very itchy, which leads me to believe that my skin is going to stretching especially since we will be gaining about a pound a week over the next 7 weeks.
Weight gain/loss: At Doctor Appointment Thursday weighed 191 up total of 31 pounds, 6 since last month. It is so weird I have never weighed this much in my entire life. The doctor said weight looks good and is not concerned.
Maternity clothes: Purchased a sweater type top (below) to possibly wear for our maternity pictures next month. I need to figure out what to wear!
Best moment this week: Doctor appointment, baby is still head down which is good!
Movement: He has been moving a lot!! this week, while in a work meeting my belly was contorting like crazy. He likes to lay on my side, so my tummy feels lop sided and really firm. He is running out of space so his movements don't always feel good.
Miss Anything: NOT FEELING EXHAUSTED!
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular this week.
Symptoms: I am easily TIRED after a few tasks. I am feeling more emotional again :(
Sleep: it is hard to get comfortable...some nights I use my body pillow other nights I don't. one night I slept in our spare bedroom.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing
Gender: BOY!!!

Looking forward to: TAKING MY MFT NATIONAL EXAM SATURDAY (TOMORROW)!!!!
I had a coupon at Babies R Us so we purchased the infant car seat! I put the bundle blanket in it so it will be ready to go. Now we just need to install the base (mirror) in the car. I need to figure out what side to have the seat on. I like the idea of having him behind the drivers seat so I don't have to walk around the car to put him in and take him out. However I have heard from others that it is easier to reach and see baby if they are on the passenger side. So we will have to try out both.

Depending on your car, you may have to have the seat on the passenger side because there has to be at least and inch between the front seat and car seat. Since you are tall, you may need to have him in the passenger seat so you aren't scrunched
